The Cobalt Northern Ontario Firefighters Museum houses firefighting equipment dating back 100 years. Many Northern communities have had their histories marred by the destructive force of fires and Cobalt has had its share. Gallery 58
This collection has been amassed through the efforts of a number of individuals who have shared their private collections for the benefit of the public.
Situated on Lang Street beside the public Library, the Museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday to Saturday from May 1st to October 31st. Winter hours are Nov. 1 to April 30th, Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
